BP claims czar Feinberg to visit area for town hall meetings


NEW ORLEANS – Facing a steady stream of criticism about slow or nonexistent claims payouts, BP claims czar Kenneth Feinberg visits the Gulf Coast Monday and Tuesday for a series of town hall meetings.

The meetings, prompted by ongoing complaints from local victims of the BP oil disaster, will bring Feinberg and staffers from his Gulf Coast Claims Facility to Mississippi, Jefferson Parish and Terrebonne Parish in the coming days.
